Disappointing. Leadoff walk. Terrible throw to 2B on a easy DP where Hardy bailed him out with a great play and then the homer run pitch on a 1-2 pitch to Doumit. Patton has walked too many guys this year.

Patton still hasn't given up a walk since May 31st.

BB/9 is down to 2.6, closing in on career average of 2.2. Whatever was giving him problems is apparently over now.
