Well, you can't win them all, but it would be nice to win the ones you should. Tillman dug us a hole, Wieters struggled in clutch situations, Davis makes a key error on an easy grounder, and Johnson became unglued once the error was committed. Oh well, we'll go get them tomorrow.

We're not going to win as many 1 run games or a bunch of extra innings game this season, but we're still going to have a great season.

We look like a better team to me. I think we are and we will have to be to have a chance at postseason.

Chris Davis giveth and taketh away.....Its OK Chris...Youre a part of every win...

It really is amazing when you think abou tit. All his historic heroics, each homerun only assisted in getting a single victory.. Every bit as much as his simple fielding error took a victory away tonight. Brutal. Certainly does make Wieters and Machado all the more appreciated. Hardy too.

      Not that I don't want to see Elias make an effort to reinforce the bullpen, but I think it's far too pessimistic to argue that the current roster can't win a WS. If you assume full health by October (a big assumption, of course), then a team that can roll out Burnes/Bradish/Rodriguez in a short series, with this lineup, and Kimbrel to close (again, assuming he stays healthy and doesn't wear down) certainly has a chance. Clear holes that COULD prevent a World Series run sounds more accurate to me.

      It's not really negative, it's just there was talk that he was an advanced college bat that might only need this year to breeze through the majors to put himself in line to directly replace Mullins.  With his struggles in A+ so far, that timeframe gap between Mullins, and EBJ being ready, looks to be bigger than just the 2025 season.   Our roster is pretty stacked.  We like draft picks/prospects, but are in win now mode at the MLB level.  WS mode too.  I don't know many teams that sell off their 29/30 year old GG CF while trying to win a WS.

      How much remorse, would we have if we let Webb go? Or Baumann?  I am astonished that Ramirez is still here, I’d rather have Jonathan Heasley, and that is not a ringing endorsement of Mr. Heasley either.

      I mean, no. At worst he can't even hit enough to be a fourth outfielder. There is a point in which the glove doesn't justify the bat. I do think there is a pretty good chance he at least gets a shot at the majors, but the floor could have him stalling out in the minors.

      I've wondered if Bradish has a good Friday is he back for game 4 of the Yankees series, and I guess Cionel rates the same kind of wonder if he bounces back and has another good enough appearance.     He's kind of a short term quiz who does Elias think can compete best with Anthony Rizzo and Juan Soto.

      I didn't realize he was this close to returning.  Looks like we'll have a bit of a roster crunch coming up with the pitching staff with Bradish, Means, and Perez, all out of options and due back in the next 10 days.  Wells could possibly be returning soon too.  Although, Wells can be optioned.   Only Tate, Akin, and Cano, can be optioned with the current relievers.  Suarez and Irvin are also out of options as well.   Will we go with three lefties in the pen like last year?  Coloumbe, Irvin, and Perez, were all staples of last year's bullpen.   If everyone is healthy in the next two weeks... Burnes, Grayson, Bradish, Kremer, Suarez Kimbrel, Cano, Coloumbe, Webb, Perez, Means, Irvin, Baumann AAA - Tate, Akin, Wells DFA - Ramirez
