I thought this was interesting, gamecast just brought up a stat on Tillman:

"That was pitch number 45 for Chris Tillman; his effectiveness may start slipping, as he holds opposing hitters to a .188 average in the first 45 pitches but they hit .333 off him after that."

Seems to be consistent with the fact our starters only make it through 5 IP.

Curious what the league average is after 45 pitches (or 50, 45 seems to be an arbitrary number they used to increase the value of the stat).

He is at home, in comfortable weather. With nice breaks between innings. I expect him to go fairly deep. As long as the bees don't sting him.

Is it normal for pitchers BAA to shoot up that high about midway through their outing?

Deep? He is at 55 pitches after 3 innings. I hope we get 6 out of him.
I think he goes six plus. This is not a delicate flower here.

55 pitches through 3 innings, 11 pitches in the 4th inning.

66 through 4 frames.

I still think he will go more than six. Probably seven.

I wasn't weighing in. I was just posting his numbers.

So, if you were weighing in? How many innings?
