The Tides have been great this year, but with the caravan of players going back and forth to the majors in full swing, they'll probably stop being quite so awesome for the rest of the season. Still, it would be great fun if they win their division.

That's just what happened in 2009. They started out that season at 35-13 and were running away with the International League until most of their stars (Bergesen, Berken, Tillman, Hernandez, Wieters, Reimold, etc.) were promoted to the majors, and they went 36-58 the rest of the way to finish at 71-71.

Excellent game from Wada tonight in a losing cause.

5 shutout innings, a run in the 6th, then he got the first 2 batters out in the 7th before departing.

Helllllo!!! That is more like it! Such a stark turnaround suggests Wada may not have been 100% earlier. This is highly encouraging.

Excellent come-from-behind win tonight against AAA-Scranton.

They were able to get the W for Jair Jurrjens, who went 8 innings.
