Hammel is so key to this season. If he can't back to the #2 starter he was last year we are in trouble.

Put Davis in the four hole. He is much more the four guy than Jones.

I'd say that's probably true right now- and I'm getting tired of seeing more and more of the "old" Jones chasing pitches... BUT, early in the season, it was often Jones who came up with the HUGE CLUTCH hits, which were often followed by Davis bashes. BUt I think Jones hot start kind of helped Davis and vice versa. The first two weeks of the season, I thought Davis was getting more credit than JOnes- and it was Jones who had the "more important" hits in some of those early dramatic wins- but now it's obviously Davis that deserves more hype... I just wonder- not that we could ever quantify it- how much that hot start on the heels of Jones hot start helped his confidence to the point that he is now the constant force that he is.
