Since starting the season at 8-13, the Indians have gone 18-4 in their last 22 games to vault themselves into 1st place in the A.L. Central Division.

Today, they KO'd the Mariners in 10 innings to complete a 4-game sweep.

I still don't think they're legit. I know we were amazing in 1 run games and extra innings last year, but we were a better team. They are also a measley 8-11 against teams .500 or above. They're feasting on weak competition and they have a tough schedule coming up. Gut check time.

Talk about being owned, the Tigers flat out own Cleveland. Barring a complete and utter tank job by Detroit, I don't see Cleveland having any shot at the division, and I've no belief they can overcome any combination of the Red Sox, Rays, O's, Rangers, A's, and now the Royals to get one of the wild card spots.

The Indians lost 3 straight games to the Tigers so far.

Detroit goes for the 4-game sweep tomorrow night.

I still don't think they're legit. I know we were amazing in 1 run games and extra innings last year, but we were a better team. They are also a measley 8-11 against teams .500 or above. They're feasting on weak competition and they have a tough schedule coming up. Gut check time.

They may or may not make the postseason, but either way, they have proven themselves to be legitimate.

A valiant season by the Indians ended in a playoff birth, and a loss to the Rays at Progressive Field.

92 wins overall.
