But, no matter how many beers I buy, I only get up between innings or pitching changes. People who get up and move around during the action frustrate me to no end.

I agree. I wish everyone was as considerate as you.

I never get it cost to much statement. You could say that about anything at the stadium. Bag of Peanuts like 1.50 most places stadium about 4. Soda is about 1.75 on average at a restaurant and it is what $5.50 at the stadium. A beer at a the same restaurant is about 4.00 and 7 at the game. So it actually goes up less percentage then other items.

I always bring my own peanuts. I would do the same with beer, but that's not allowed.

Living in KC, I don't get back to OPACY as much as I'd like. Does Clancy still sell beer? I always tried to make a point to buy at least one Bud from him at every game I went to.

Yeah he is in my.section.

Yes, there is beer control at the stadium. Walk up vendors are only allowed to sell 2 beers per person. However, there's nothing to stop you from downing those and going and getting 2 more next inning. As far as the wandering vendors, I don't think Ive ever seen them refuse to sell, but supposedly it's 2 per person per transaction. One thing they have gotten more strict about is anyone that screams a curse word seems to get the hammer pretty hard. Sometimes a warning, but Ive seen plenty of guys escorted out for that. You seem to be able to get away with more of that in the bleachers and upper deck.

I'm hardly ever at a game ($), but when I am, I buy no beer or anything else. Anything I/we consume, I/we bring in. Other reasons I don't drink at a game: I'm not a drinker in the first place (but if others do and keep everything in check, then fine), I want to pay focused attention to the action, and I want to watch out for idiots (postgame or anytime).

I'm with you, unfortunately, I would rather watch from home. When I go to a game I am watching the crowd around me more than I am the game, and it's not because I like to people watch, it's probably because I'm always trying to be alert to my surroundings and it just isn't really fun most times. See enough horror in your lifetime, and the unfortunate reality is you expect it at any time.

No offense but isn't this borderline paranoia? I mean why are you always worried, you need to relax sometimes.

I'm not paranoid, I'm just paid to deal with people at their absolute worst, and when you do that long enough, it's just who you are. Let your guard down at your job, and you'd probably make a type-o, I let my guard down, and my wife and kids have no husband/father.

I can imagine it's a stressful job. But if I make a mistake at work it's not just a typo, someone dies.
