The Sheriff with an Unbelievable Defensive Play...yeah, that's right, DEFENSIVE play!

Unfortunately for every one good play there are probably 2 bad ones. All his defensive numbers look horrid so far, even at first base. I watched a game a week or so ago and he was just horrible at third. Didn't make any errors but he couldn't handle a slow roller that most any third baseman will make and botched and easy DP ball. Only watched a few innings.

A few days ago, Buck stated he watched a game and saw a third baseman cost his team 5 runs without making and error. Only my opinion, but I'm 99% certain he was referring to Mr. Reynolds and I was thinking to myself it was probably a purposeful potshot at him, and there was no way in heck the Orioles were ever thinking about resigning that guy.

That dive and pick was the only good part of the play.

On the throw,if he spun the opposite way of what he did he would have gotten the out by having rh e momentum of his hips and throwing shoulder as well as not having to shuffle/reset his feet.

The pick was an average pick...the throw was so bounced so far from him that it should not have been a challenge for a highschooler, let alone a MLB third basemen.

Then, it looks like he completely misses the lead foot of the runner, nearly allowing him to be safe even though the ball beat the runner there.

Meh.

You might want to get your eyes checked.

It is interesting that his .502 OPS over the last 30 days (and his lower-than-Alexi-Casilla rWAR) has quieted the "Duquette and Buck and Angelos are frickkin' idiots for not resigning Reynolds" threads.

Haha yes indeed. It is very funny how some think baseball to be a 40-game season and therefore do not take into account any current hot streak.

The people who were idiots were the people who wanted us to sign him. .229 average and falling. Negative WAR. Basically he is doing on Cleveland what he did here. Stinking up the joint.
