Why is it generally considered that Manny's doubles will turn into HR's in the following years? I ask this out of genuine curiosity, as I don't know the answer!

Why is it generally considered that Manny's doubles will turn into HR's in the following years? I ask this out of genuine curiosity, as I don't know the answer!

The general line of thinking is that he's just 20-years old so as he matures and gets man strength, those balls that go screaming into the gaps and corners will keep carrying to become homers. I think Manny ends up an annual 25-30 homer guy, but he's going to hit .300+.

Because he is twenty, he has bat speed, and he will get bigger.

I think more 20-25 with a peak year or two thrown in there. Not as many 30 homer guys anymore.
