Toronto just swept a four game series in Texas

In dominant fashion, outscoring the Rangers 24-4 in the four games.

The Blue Jays are 9-4 in June. Some have been worried about the Rays making a run, but the Rays are the same distance in the standings (3.5 games) from the Jays as they are from the O's.

The odds are still against Toronto really making any noise, but if they keep up their momentum this could be a five team race later in the summer.

There's no assurances that they'll stick around now that they've shown up. They could just as easily return to how they looked to start the season. However, we are definitely getting a taste of what they were hoping to get.

I'm totally fine with this sweep as we'll much more likely be battling Texas for a wild card spot than the Blue Jays.

Toronto and Anaheim still scare the crap out of me. Glad we're finished with Anaheim and a 5-2 mark against them this year is great.
