I'm watching the end of the Rays-Red Sox game and going to the 9th Doubront was pitching a gem.

Over 9 innings he allowed 3 hits, SO 6 BB 0. Leading 1-0 going to the 9th does Farrell leave him in or pull him?

Well, you know what he does of course from the title of the thread.

He was at 93 pitches.

I'm not too upset because Kelly Johnson tied the game with a solo shot of Bailey, but I'll bet Doubront isn't happy.

I understand it was a 1-0 game but on this night I want Doubront to "close" the way he was throwing.

Did you see Doubront pitch last night? Speaking in general terms I'd agree with you, but a manager needs to pay attention to a guy who is dominating a game like Doubront was and act or not act accordingly. It was a stupid move to bring in Bailey. He's not Rivera and Doubront was setting them down with ease.
