Yes, it was similar, with a major difference. We had multiple options on what the trade would be, here it is one deal that insiders agree may have been completed with PA approval needed. So it 'appears' to be more concrete. Granted, it's appeared that way before...

I would say yes if this deal is allowing us to do something else, which we don't know at this time.

I like that BRob is going to be traded(it looks like) because it signals AM really does have control.

But I don't like the trade itself.

I am surprised to see that SG voted no. Overall it's seems that the OH approves. It's early yet however.

I understand. If this deal happens, AM may have a few moves in mind that could surprise us. Certainly the Bedard situation looms large in how we perceive his deeds as a whole and what direction we are headed. 'Seems' to be headed where most want... rebuilding.

I eventually warmed to Gallagher, Murton, Patterson (with time).. but this is a downgrade to that trade. While I agree with SG's sentiment that if certain pieces will be used to get other deals done, than this one looks better. At face value though, I say "meh".

Well, i am squarely on the fence for the Tejada and BRob deals....It will depend on what else we do with some of those guys or our own guys that can now be dealt because of the depth.
