Were The D-Backs Prospects Good Enough?

Does anyone think that the prospects that the Diamondbacks sent to Oakland for Dan Heren were good enough in a trade for Bedard?

I know that the A's sent a mid level pitching prospect in addition, but even if we did or didn't what do you think about the trade?

I don't think that I would make the trade although there does appear to be some names that have really good potential.

My general thought is BAL has already made a deal for depth. To me, a Bedard deal should net fewer prospects, but higher ceiling guys. OAK was looking to re-stock a system -- BAL doesn't need to do that. I would pass on the package OAK got for Haren.
