Zimmerman has a permanent shoulder injury. He developed Steve Sax disease. He will never get better. He is a DH/First-baseman now.

I had to completely re-learn how to throw, and my motion is entirely new. At 38 I can throw better than when I was 21! And my joint doesn't give me problems, because I no longer have a joint.
