This board really needs to have better policies with regards to starting new threads. For some people, it seems like every time they have any kind of thought whatsoever about the Orioles, they start a thread. For others, it's tiny bits of very insignificant news that get overinflated with a hyperbolic thread title.

I was thinking there should be a miscellaneous Orioles related thread. I have thoughts from time to time that don't deserve their own thread and there is no where to put them.

Is it really that detrimental to your life? You actually had to take the time out of your day to post that? It wasnt easier to just hit the back button once you realized chris davis wasnt seriously injured? Or was the thought of Chris Davis so mentally taxing that you beleive the creator of this thread owes you something?

Theres nothing wrong with threads like this. Livens things up a bit. Besides, is this forum really that busy that we need to start weeding out threads so we dont miss something important? Give me a break. Sorry but I really hate forum nazis

Probably because you have a two red pip reputation.

If there was "nothing" wrong with this kind of thread, why would they title need to be changed to properly send the sentiment of the injury. Seeing "Chris Davis Hurt" doesn't make people think of a mostly superficial injury, more like a torn muscle from the swinging or the like.

.

Chris Davis said that he is not concerned about a blister that burst on his right palm during Monday's Home Run Derby.

Davis said that he deals with the blister every year, and just has to switch to different batting gloves.

Davis may have been affected by the broken callus, but said it won't be an issue whatsoever to start the second half of the season. In fact, he said he usually wears padded batting gloves and switched to them mid-round when he was visited by Adam Jones. He will not miss Tuesday's All-Star Game, in which he's starting and batting cleanup.

At least someone knows Davis should be batting cleanup.
