MLB I'm sure made a ton more money, but I'm not really seeing the problem of volunteers not getting paid money.

2,000 volunteers dang, if those numbers are correct, thats a lot of free labor hours.

If they agreed to be a volunteer, not sure how they can go back afterwards and collect money.

Agreed. But it's poor taste for MLB to look for volunteers when they're a billion dollar industry.

I think it is in poor taste to volunteer to do something for free then go back and demand money for it.

I have no problem with them doing it if they can find suckers, I mean applicants, willing to do it.
