My understanding is he is an absolute butcher at 3B and will b either OF or DH.

I dunno, Cabrera has seemed decent at first the few times I have seen him. Am I the only one that doesn't like Kinsler though? He seems to make a lot of boneheaded plays on the base paths...

He should be better than Fielder was, if you go by bb-ref WAR.

Keep in mind that the average defense WAR value at 1B is something like -0.6 or -0.8 (something that I still find kind of bizarre but that is for another thread), and over his career at 1B M. Cab has been around -1.2 or so at first. Just a tad below average....I have a hunch his bat will make up for it.
