Bill Clinton denied having sexual relations with that women, but ultimately the truth came out. :)

Meglomania: a disorder characterized by delusional fantasies of power, relevance, or omnipotence.

We are talking about a man who bought the multimillion dollar office building across from his church so he would have a place to park for the service.

Sometime I feel bad jumping to conclusions, but we unfortunatley jump to the same conclusions every year.

I don't think Angelos does not care about the on field product. I think he cares deeply. But perception is reality. And no one percieves Mike Ilyich or Arte Moreno don't care. Their actions speak loud about their commitment.

This better be conjecture. I was just starting to believe some of the posters around here that King Peter isn't really as bad as my impressionable teen perceptions made him out to be from the 90's.

I am hoping Angelos was completely disgusted that Johnson blew the game against the Yankees in the playoffs last year. He was so mad, he ordered Duquette to get rid of that pesky Johnson. I am hoping Angelos is ready to make a splash to replace the closer and get a bat because he cares now.

Nothing would push the team ahead faster than an angry owner who doesn't really know anything making the decisions.

Gotta love this part:

You do realize that the Yankees TV deal dwarfs the Orioles and the Yankees ticket prices are insanely high? Anyway the whole article is nonsense anyway. Unless he has an insider stating that Angelos told DD to get rid of Jim Johnson than it is pure fairy tale. I still don't see why anyone is upset about the Johnson trade. He was awful last year. Everyone on here wasn't calling for him to be taken out of the closer role.

Looks like Peter got a call from Angelos and decided to change his tune a bit. It also appears the headline was switched around. He should have asked him about the office. ;) Wonder if that means Schmuck will back off now. It will be interesting to watch how this shakes out and if Schmuck, who has been the only Baltimore-based main-stream media member to question Angelos, will now change his tune.

Wrong answer..

83.5% saved, and was the leading AL closer.

He wasn't perfect and lights out.

But, to say he was awful is fair either.

It has happened before. As I've noted before, for years Angelos would not talk to the Sun, but only to the Washington Post.
