From mlbtraderumors.com:

Darren Wolfson of 1500 ESPN spoke with a Twins official (Twitter link) and asked if Mark Reynolds was a realistic option for the team. Wolfson's source told him that Reynolds is realistic if the Twins decide they want him, but there's currently no consensus among Twins brass on "marginal players."

It's sad that we've only been interested in "marginal players" so far this offseason.

In related news, I was in Madison this week and went to Miller Park on Tuesday for lunch. They have a TGI Fridays there that is inside the stadium and open year round. That park is massive, with a retractable dome. I'd like to return to watch a game there sometime.

The Sheriff is gonna hit some BOMBS in that park,

That's a really good opportunity for him. I'm happy for him. I agree, out of all of the teams mentioned in that SB Nation article, Milwaukee will give him the most attention.

No matter what you thought of Reynolds as a player, he seemed like a really good guy. I'll be rooting for him to have a great year.

After Reynolds left the Orioles, it was easy for me to root for him when he played for the Indians, and now it will be even easier for me to root for him since he is a Brewer ..... but it wasn't so easy to root for him when he played for the Yankees in between.

I agree, nice guy, easy to root for, and hope he does well, but realistically, I think he is an aging veteran, whose prime has past him by, and would be very surprised if he wasn't DFA during the season.

Perfect situation in Milwaukee. He'll platoon with Overbay at first, so he's only facing lefties. I bet he has a great year.
