Jerry Coleman was my late mommy's favorite player.

My mom was a lifelong Yankee fan before converting to an Oriole fan in October of 1978.

Coleman was 89 years-old.

I saw him play but cannot remember anything specific. He played alongside of the "Scooter", who my mom went to HS with at Richmond Hill, Queens. My mom also passed at 89 back in '06. Jerry was a nice player and remember him on WPIX television following his baseball career.
