Ryan Dempster announced he will not pitch in 2014. The team will apparently have an extra $13.25 million to work with. Many think they will use the extra money to sign Drew.

Dempster's been pretty good in his career, despite a mediocre 2013. By announcing his decision this late, he throws a pretty big wrench in Boston's plans. It will be interesting to see if they jump on Santana or Jiminez.
