Yep. Burnett's agent was on MLB Network yesterday and stated Burnett was "OFF" on his comments about the Orioles. While he didn't explicitly state that the Orioles had the better offer, he did state he Orioles were indeed strong contenders and the decision was influenced by Burnett's strong desire desire to pitch in the NL.

Sounds like AJ and his agent need to get their story straight.

Maybe Burnett's agent was telling the Phillies that the Orioles were making big offers so he could get more money from them and that is why he has to come out now and deny what Burnett said. I don't care really. I never wanted Burnett as I was sure he would fail pitching at Camden Yards and in the AL East. Time to move on.
