LOVE IT SO FA. 2 ks and only threw 3 balls the whole inning. Only concern I see is that his FB is only being clocked around 90-91. If it has good movement on it then that is fine but I guess it is only ST and he is just getting stronger as it progresses.

That fastball has some great tailing action. Last pitch to Brown might have been a bit high...but it moved wonderfully to pick up the K. Like to see that velocity up a bit more in the 93-94mph range. But first start. Let's see how he progresses.

I am going to up my projection for Ubaldo. 29-0, 0.00 ERA, with 300 K in 200 IPs is realistic based on his showing today. He is going to provide a big boost to our staff.
