Tough game for Zachary tonight (as well as the team, overall.) About as tough as it gets.

Good teams don't let crushing losses ruin them. The Orioles didn't let the crushing loss to the Brewers last month ruin them, and they shouldn't let tonight's crushing loss to the Athletics ruin them ....... and just as importantly, neither should Zachary Britton.

I don't think that is a thing.

I think the number of guys who are drafted out of HS and grind their way to the majors only to crumple under a bit of pressure is very small.

He seems to be able to forget. So that is good. I just don't see the road swag to do this full time. Plus he is left-handed and a sinkerballer and I hate both of those things in a closer. Apart from small sample sizes that is generally a recipe for disaster.

Most left handed sinkerballers have terrible splits. Zach doesn't seem to have that problem.
