It's been confirmed Weeks.

Gives a little more flexibility to PH for one of the infielders at least. Weakens the OF defense, but not like Lough was producing very much.

So does Weeks get some starts in LF or are we going to see a combination of Cruz and Young/Pearce at LF and DH? I do like Weeks at 2B against lefties.

The Orioles really didn't have much choice about who to bring up. The only players with OF experience on the 40-man roster were Weeks - a.500 BA - and Urruita, a .143 BA. Weeks will likely just be here so Buck can use his speed if necessary. Weeks has only played 4 ML games, and a total of 10 innings in the outfield. Looks like Cruz will be the main guy in LF for a while.

Injuries are never good but in this case this might work right now, it forces Young into the lineup as the DH and Cruz to play LF. More punch, more runs....I really think Young is prepared to have a good season.

I wonder how much Weeks will play while he's here, it'll be interesting to see what Buck does with this.

I'd like to see him get a few starts at 2b in place of Lombardozzi. Despite Lombardozzi's nice hitting so far this season Weeks is probably the higher upside player, so it's worth giving him some looks.
