Maybe he asks for his release and goes back to Korea?

I think one is as likely as the other.

Lots of guys make Kuroda money and still want another payday.

I think it is certainly possible that he would rather return home then face another year on a bus playing for an organization that evidently doesn't value him.

Just saying I called it.

Of course Dan called it first.

Wow, pretty big break there. That's a big chunk of money this late in the offseason.

No kidding. Get to turn this prospect back in an escape a multi $M commitment. It's like those Monopoly "bank makes error in your favor" cards that never seem to happen in real life - except for big $ MLB owners I guess. That is a nice break that, hopefully, gets re-invested in amateur prospects.
