Before the season I said he'd be less than 35 this year(which I'd take), now after the slow start, DL stint plus what you've said I'm doubting that.

To me, the answer for him is going the other way. Last year he was much better at taking pitches to LF, even hitting HRs. This year, not so much. I'd love someone more proficient than me to pull that data on that.

Yeah...just going from memory, he seemed to do a much better job of staying on pitches and driving them to the opposite field last year. Then again, he's been having so much trouble catching up to good fastballs that a lot of teams have been busting him inside.
