His next deal will be interesting, he is better suited as a DH whether Cruz likes it or not. His best fit would be staying in the AL. If I was an NL team I wouldn't go after him.

If he fulfills his pace and finishes with 50+ homers, I know several teams that would live with his glove.

I could see 4/60-something if he keeps up this pace all season, but he's not getting $20 million+ annually. Not for ages 34-38.

He has shown that he can stand in LF. That's about it. He is not good out there.

Did he bring the baby with him? He is hitting like a guy that hasn't gotten any sleep.

Think about it, how many players do you hear the team carry on about them having their first kid and then they become worthless for a month or more (see MiGo 2013). After about a month, they start realizing that the kid needs their paycheck.

I doubt he gets 20+ because of one year. 3/(45-50) with an optional 4th year is probably about right.
