Why would the Sawx have a 2% better chance than the Rays? Also the Yanks are a half game behind the Jays and the Jays just lost Edwin Encarnacion, and they're almost 30% behind? I'm confused.

The Rays loose another game and their percentage goes up. That right there tells you had dumb those percentage are. I know run differential matters but if they keep loosing by 1 run and win by 5 thery will be to 20% shortley. lol

That still should not matter if you are so many games out with so many to play then the next next day you are the exact same place as you were with just one less game to play it makes it harder to catch them. ie. If you are three games out with 4 to play and you loose yours by one and they get beat by 10. You shouldn't have a better percentage because now you have just 3 games to make up the 3 games.

Lets go into the 2nd half on a good note. Win this series. Then win 40+ games in the second half, win this division, and go into the playoffs guns a blazing.

The Yankees sure have an easy schedule the rest of July. After a series w/ the Reds, they face Texas, followed by Toronto, and end the month facing Texas again.

I fear the Yankees more than Toronto, especially the way Toronto has been nosediving. If the O's don't bring their A game against the A's, Angels, and Mariners, their lead over the Yankees could disappear quick.

The Yankees also don't face the A's, Angels, or Mariners the rest of the season.
