The two teams face off in a huge 3-game series at Kauffman Stadium this weekend.

The Royals have a suspended game out there where they were trailing by 2 runs in extra innings. I guess they could pull it out, but it's probably better to assume that they're trailing by a half game more than the standings show. I think the game will be completed next week.

The Royals clinched their first postseason birth in 29 years (1985) on Friday.

They still have a chance to win the division title if they win tomorrow and the Tigers lose, which would force a one-game playoff between the two teams.
