And... Buck would have done what to directly affect that? Maybe pinch-hit himself into the game to drive in Markakis? Don't get me wrong, he was a good hitter in the minors, but I think he's a little past his playing prime.

The Buck not watching was with regards to the pitching by Gonzales.

I think this is a lousy start for Gonzales no matter how you try and spin it. Never dominated only limited the damage. And its not done yet.

It's done. And, presumably, so is Gonz?lez.

That's been a pattern this season-pitch well when we don't hit, score runs when we don't pitch well.

If he can get this last out, will still be ahead, but we need more runs.

Other pattern is bats have 1 good inning and go to bed.
