BTW, thanks for everyone who said they have it unblocked or have unblocked them while on this site. If I missed giving you rep points, let me know but I thought I got everyone. I understand and respect everyone's viewpoint on this, but at the end of the day, the ads are here to stay in order for us to continue to grow.

I think everyone does understand that advertising pays the bills to have content that is not just a national reblog.

I use tapatalk when I'm not at work, and my work computers are all gooned up from the ads (it's essentially a 2004 ISP, RAM and browser). I will gladly click on any ads involving boobies if you link me. Those are always safe.

Don't get me started with tapatalk. They literally steal from me.

I use a popup blocker but it doesn't seem to affect any of the ads on OH. I see them all, some tailored to my interests in music and musical instruments. My only complaint is that the ads sometime load slow and freeze up my computer. But, i have that problem on some other websites also. I'm using Chrome, have Verizon Fios 15/5 Mbps, and a AMD Athlon II X4 640 3.0GHz Quad Core Processor, so i don't know what the problem is.

I mostly access the site using my ipad. That way I don't feel overly concerned clicking on the ads. That being said, I have noticed lately that sometimes when I'm browsing the Hangout, the AppStore opens up on its own, and a pop up. Appears for some game. It's happened quite a few times, but I keep forgetting to take note of the name of the app it opens up. Anyone else have this issue?

Anyway, keep up the good work Tony, and I'll keep checking out your advertisers.

I was one that was getting annoyed with the auto video ads and eventually just turned on ad blocker plus. I'll also make the exception when I get home from work.

I also didn't realize Tapatalk was such an issue but it is nearly a necessity to use when compared to using the OH from a mobile browser. I would happily switch if a mobile platform was developed specifically for the OH though.

Android users on KitKat can't use flash in the browser so any flash ads wont show up on the mobile platform, either.

iPhone's don't support flash ads either but the regular ads (as well as sidebars) still will take up a third of the screen...a pretty big deal on such small screens.

Also, whenever I do switch over to Safari or Chrome browser, I get a popup notification pushing the use of Tapatalk that leads directly to the App Store (my browser security settings also require me to sign in every single time I open the page which is annoying).

Tapatalk, while it probably hurts the site is the best thing in the world to view forums from a cellphone. I couldn't live without it.

I've not had the best experience with AMD processors. Tried twice and had problems both times. Coincidence maybe, but 2 for 2 was enough for me. I usually get Toshibas or Dells and always get pentium processors. JMO.
