The odds have to be very high that he passes through waivers, nobody is going to pick up his contract. And after that he's a free agent, can sign with anyone.

7.14 ERA, ERA+53 WHIP 2.05 even his FIP is high at over 5.0 not sure how bringing him back on anything other than a minor league deal makes sense for the O's.

Not sure how coming back to Baltimore on minor league deal makes sense for JJ. Its already known the Marlins had interest to TRADE for him...as FA they certainly would. I would also imagine any number of teams that will be dealing BP arms might take a shot.

Honestly we need BP help that can get outs now. I would love to bring him in to compete during spring training but now is not the time to be trying to fix what ails JJ.
