I don't how how, but it's a glaring weakness.

Schoop's defense is just fine, but man he's so out classed in a MLB batters box it's hard to watch.

That's the problem. It's not like he is hanging in there, or he is close and you are just waiting for the light to turn on. At this stage in his career, there is no light. Most of his at-bats look like a publicity stunt. Like he's some fan that won the "play for the O's for a day" contest.

We need to do something. It is bad. Both of them.

Agree, .575 OPS. Of all the hitters we have I have the least faith when he comes AB, that includes Flaherty and Lough. Hewill be good someday but he should be in the minors. We are not a rebuilding ball club, we are in a pennant race.

I have been a huge Schoop fan, but he is just not getting it done. No level of defense balances out his ineptitude at the plate. We may really regret not getting 2B help at the deadline. If we could have gotten Cabrerra... I hope we at least were trying to land him
