CF and SS are two of the three most important positions on the diamond, and you need to have suitable backups to fill in, if something happens.

I completely agree that those are two of the most important positions. Need to be strong up the middle. I was responding to a comment that seemed to trivialize the importance of Flaherty being the backup SS in case Hardy were to go down with injury by mentioning how Lough backs up Jones, despite him never being out.

Lough backing up Jones is key, we dont want to see Cruz or Nick in CF.

Just like we dont want to see Schoop at 2nd.

Flash haters will trivialize him all day long and twice on Sunday.

Flash is a super sub and that is his spot on this team.
