Roch said he has pretty good numbers vs. Hughes also.

De Aza is 4-for-13 (.308) with a double and home run against Twins starter Phil Hughes, but he's not starting.

De Aza missed his flight on Sunday AM. Buck had him in yesterday's lineup. Lough replaced him, went 3-for-5. When De Aza finally did arrive, Wayne Kirby spent the rest of the game going over defensive alignments with Alejandro.

Roch said Bud Norris knew Paredes from his Houston days. Bud was just GUSHING about him. Very talented if a little raw yet.

Jimmy is still young, and has played every position other than pitcher and catcher over his last two seasons. He has had very little good instruction unfortunately.
