Better utility guy

I don't start many threads, and if this has already been discussed, please forgive me. But doesn't there have to be a better option we can go and get for next year than Ryan Flaherty? He has been given opportunity upon opportunity over the last few seasons, and has not been able to be consistent with the bat especially, but even recently with the glove. Who is out there that would be an upgrade? Someone like Zobrist obviously comes to mind. Drew has had an awful year, but at least has a pretty good track record. Any chance we could get him cheap next year?

There are not really any. Not that are as versatile as him. Anyone better ends up starting.

No. None of them are utility guys. Start with Justin Turner and go down from there.

How many ppl were ripping him, saying they were "done" with Flaherty after 2 costly 9th inning errors in Tampa? What if that was game 7 of the playoffs and Hardy is out?

That's the whole point. The guys you are naming are every day starters. Barring injury, Flaherty isn't.

You are comparing a 23rd man on the roster to a guy who is top 2 on his team with Zobrist.
