I don't know who this Karns kid is making his rays debut, but he's 2 hit the Jays on 7 strikeouts and leaving with the lead 1-0 in Toronto.

Karns was actually a Nationals farmhand and a pretty prized prospect who made his ML debut last year against the Orioles, facing off against Kevin Gausman. Gausman got lit up by the Nats that game but Karns couldn't make it through 5. Nats won 9-3. Karns was dealt in a package to the Rays this past offseason for Jose Labatone and a few other players.
