I don't think that is a good idea.

Billy Joel was involved in his third car accident in two years Sunday when he slammed into a house on a wet road on Long Island.

Please save us from ourselves, Braves
Atlanta has an obvious need for a corner outfielder, and Markakis’s Georgia roots make him a natural target. Of course, it remains unclear whether the Braves’ new head baseball executive, John Hart, will really make a competitive run at an older player after dealing away Jason Heyward and seemingly marketing Justin Upton. While those two players are younger, of course, they are also pending free agents who always looked to be tough extension targets. On the other hand, Atlanta appears to have a good bit of work to do before it can again be considered a true contender, and the 31-year-old Markakis may make better sense for a team with more present-day production in its lineup.

Or maybe not.

This might mean nothing... or this could be the writing on the wall.

SOURCE: http://www.baltimoresun.com/sports/orioles/blog/bal-markakis-had-dinner-in-monkton-monday-with-braves-manager-20141202-story.html

The Atlanta Braves have more than just casual interest in bringing free agent Nick Markakis back to Georgia. They have made a face-to-face push.

Braves manager Fredi Gonzalez and other team representatives were in Maryland on Monday and had dinner with Markakis at a Monkton restaurant Monday night, according to a source. It appeared to be more of a get-to-know-you session than negotiations, the source said. John Hart, the Braves? new president, apparently was not there.

The Braves have been considered one of the most likely landing spots for MarkakIs if he does not re-sign with the Orioles.

When a team wants a guy for real, this is how it's done.
