Cruz would be a huge mistake. He needs to DH some to stay healthy.

Is it just me or does Heyman imply in this article that Cespedes in the best fit for the Mariners?

http://www.cbssports.com/mlb/writer/jon-heyman/24842340/mariners-eye-five-cleanup-options-upton-gattis-cruz-kemp-cespedes

Seems like he tells us why each player does not fit until he gets to Cespedes and then tells us how much the Mariners like Cespedes.

I didn't read it that way. Just seemed like a roundup of the options to me.

The article failed to mention that Cespedes' contract precludes his team from offering him a QO when he becomes a free agent. Seems to me that lowers his trade value a little.
