The FAN mentioned Jim Duquette as a possible return to the Orioles as GM. I don't think so, but I do believe his cousin's refusal to put this fire out has stuck a fork in his Orioles tenure. Ashame. He was becoming royalty in BMore. In Toronto he will be just another GM with a big budget.

The Orioles should put an offer out to the Royals GM. And then work it in the media like the Blue Jays have done. Maybe every GM in baseball can switch teams and get a big raise.

Something needs to happen to resolve this and resolve it fast. When Roch quotes people within the organization referring to the situation as "toxic", that is a very very bad thing. I have loved having DD as the GM/VP but allowing the situation to fester seems unwise at this point. This whole thing sucks.

Of course getting millions of dollars to do a job when no one else would give you the time of day isn't a bad gig either. Then extending him to a multi year multi million dollar deal after one year.
