Sucks that I won't be able to pick them up for some games on regular radio now (up near Philly), but the Gameday Audio I get each season works beautifully, so if you don't have that, it's worth it to subscribe to hear the O's games.

The lousy this is that they just seemed to fit perfectly on WBAL.

As a season ticket holder and lifelong fan I am very worried about this move. 105.7 has a morning show led by Davis and Noris on Monday mornings that hammers away not afraid to criticize the Ravens. I predict they will be given no freedom of expression with the O's. They will be told to never criticize the franchise. Jeremy and Scott are already blatant homers. Will there be any objectivity left in regards to the O' s at the only viable all sports station in Baltimore? Unfortunately I say no. The 105.7 staff will be puppets for the Angelos regime. Time to go MLB network.

I for one am happy to see the move back to 105.7 FM. The Orioles must have had complaints from fans and listeners that caused them to opt out of the contract. If WBAL had been smart, they would have gobbled up a local FM station to co-broadcast. I complained because I live and work in western Howard Co. I sometimes work nights and radio is the only way I can hear Orioles' games. Unfortunately where I am, WBAL's signal turns to gobbligook at dusk - they obviously cut the transmission power pointing west for some reason (maybe another station on/near the same frequency out there somewhere?) Anyway, 105.7 FM comes in clear and strong.

Agenda? No. I don't see where one of the things you have mentioned is even remotely close to the truth.

Everyone of your posts calls into question the integrity, value, or quality of the Oriole ownership, their players and the team management in general. Every one. It's like you have a grudge. Every one of them. I went back and read them.

The Orioles Hangout has had a very nice relationship with that station and in particular many of the on air talent.

To everyone complaining about signal (both ways), a very basic understanding of AM (for HF band) and FM (VHF band) will help.

AM radio works on a lower frequency. 3-30 mhz. FM works from, roughly, 30-300. If you think about radio waves for just a second, the hertz will tell you the frequency that it waves at per second. The much higher range of FM 30-300 will simply not go as far, but it will also sound clearer because the chances of skip are lower.

However, the AM band will miss certain spots much easier, but it can travel infinitely farther. I can frequently hear transmissions from all around the world, and I'm not exaggerating here, while I'm at work on AM. Typically, at night, we'll go to a lower freq because it works better, so you'll get more range, hence picking up the broadcast in places like upstate NY.

So if you live in Baltimore or the metro area, this news should be a good thing. People living a little farther out, this sucks.

I know that coming down I-91 in Connecticut I would be able to pick WBAL. It was a nice break from the Boston, NY sports nonsence.

The Orioles just belong on WBAL.

Oriole baseball! (doo, doo, doo, doo, doo.)

It's father and son having fun together (doo, doo, doo, doo, doo, doo.)

It's you and your number one ... underneath the lights or in the sun ... having fun ........ together.

More than wins ...... more than losses ...... more than just a game on Oriole baseball.

It's everyone ... having fun ... being one ...... together.

Oriole baseball ...... Oriole baseball ...... Oriole baseball ......

I didn't realize anyone had negative feelings toward Scott and Jeremy. Easily my favorites.

I live in Manchester, north Carroll county and TTR has very limited reception there. But...was trying to listen to the Terps on Saturday on the The FAN and that was almost impossible. This sorta sucks.

I too live in Manchester, and yes, the move does suck for us.

If you get north of the town (like past the 27 intersection) then 1280 should be pretty solid. As you've said, I love WTTR as a local station but it's pretty worthless outside of Westminster.

The main problem with 105.7 is that there's a 105.7 in Harrisburg that interferes with the signal. It's maddening. We could pick up 105.7 from Baltimore just fine if it wasn't for that. I try to listen to Terps games all the time as I'm driving around and it's constantly switching from one station to the other. I wish one of them would agree to change their frequency but I guess it probably doesn't affect all that many.

MASN is the only thing keeping me from dropping cable. Now that I can get Joe Angel on FM quality radio this is more attractive.

But its really hard to part with every Orioles game on HD TV. REALLY hard.

I have MLB At Bat and get all the audio broadcasts to all MLB games, and I don't know the price, but I'm pretty sure they have a TV package in which you could watch all the games also. I think that package is around $100 bucks.......
