Glad everyone is ok. Good God how does a fire get that out of control? Looks like a war zone.

Simple, from a firefighter's prospective: Cheap. Modern. Construction. They build these complexes in just a matter of weeks to the bare minimum of what it takes to pass inspection. It's awful. They cut cost everywhere they can. That why you still see so many old apartment complexes around. When those old ones do burn, it's usually contained to the one unit or the adjacent one.

Sorry to derail. This is awful. I hope he finds the strength he needs to overcome.

Glad everyone is accounted for and ok. The moral of the story is: don't move into a four story luxury apartment complex made out of wood. Wasn't even the first time the whole thing caught fire.

My prayers go out to him. As someone who went through displacement because of a fire, it's a horrible feeling to watch your sense of security go up in flames.
