I remember how hard we were on Terry Mathews long ago, and how Oakland felt about JJ when he obviously didn't have it last April - I've got to think Joba's first couple appearances at Tiger Stadium could get interesting.

Joba would be pretty alone pitching at Tiger Stadium today.

That video makes a grown man cry. I wish I could have been there. The Orioles have to reach the playoffs this year. I am confident that they will. Can you imagine if the orioles have a healthy Machado' date=' Davis and

Weiters heading into the playoffs.[/quote']

He said weeks ago he had multiple offers then he signs for 1 million. I guess those other offers were of the minor league variety.

I am sure in that price range, with the lack of quality FA relievers avalable, lots of teams was kicking the time on Joba, not to mention, his agent didn't have the last name of Boras.

MLBTR claims Joba is a solid buy at a one year deal.

As MLBTR?s Steve Adams noted earlier this month, Chamberlain makes for a solid buy on a one-year deal, perhaps more so than remaining free agent relievers Francisco Rodriguez and Rafael Soriano.
