The oddness of the quote was due to me sitting next to my girlfriend and she said "Did he say he had CERVICAL issues?" I have some limited knowledge of the cervix, but was wondering if I (or Jim) had innocently used the wrong term for years. After looking it up, I am now clear on it.

of or pertaining to the female cervix: i.e., the neck of the uterus.
