Spring C Watch

I thought Caleb Joseph would be considered a lock for the backup C position...then saw this highlight of Lavarnway with the strike-em-out-throw-em-out.

So hmmmm...this actually could be an interesting story to keep an eye on this spring. I love what CJ brought to our team last year. I still have to think for morale purposes it has to be CJ's job, but with a short leash, but rationally if Lavarnway can bring this kind of defense, he would not have to do much to outperform CJ offensively. What does he have to do this spring to get the job?

We also shouldn't count out Ward who also has a very strong reputation defensively.
