LOL, some would want to discuss if Hirschbeck was really qualified to be a ML umpire.

But, thanks, wasn't sure if they used real umps in ST.

The thing is, Hirschbeck has, for 20+ years now, been probably the most pitcher friendly umpire in baseball. Longtime stats back it up.

Hitters are usually the ones complaining about him, and on rare occasions spitting. It's quite unusual to see a pitcher complaining.

So, not having seen the game, I am going to conclude that Bud is still showing the lack of command he has had all spring.
