Start Gausman out at AAA

Curious, when did Gary Thorne say this. I watched most of the game, but I had to get in my episode of "Law & Order: SVU".

Did Gary say what role the Gausman should play? Is there a huge dispute among the players about this rotation thing? I rather doubt it, but you never know.

The time on the tweet is 97 minutes before airtime, so it must have been something Thorne said in conversation rather than on the air.

Based solely on one outing? Have you seen Norris at all this entire ST?

If Norris is our third best starter based on the way he's been throwing we're in trouble. I don't think he is and I don't pretend to know where Buck has him slotted. My observation hasn't changed one bit.

Gausman is easily one of our best pitchers and should be in the rotation. I hear teams are looking for pitching.

Have we heard Buck state anything definitive besides Tillman as the opening day starter? I know that MASN used the term probable when they put up their graphic, but Thorne spoke like he was certain that Jiminez would be the 5 starter and they would skip over him between the number 4 starter and Tillman's second start.

I'd be surprised if Thorne mis spoke. It looks like Tillman, Chen, Gonzo, skip Ubaldo, Norris. No mention of Gausman in the equation so far.

Buck is matching up early on that's all. I think if the Orioles opened up with the Jays instead of Tampa Chen would not have pitched.
