Who has impressed you the most in ST?

I have a list:

1) Reimold - I had him on the (his time has past list) coming into ST. I knew if he was healthy he might help but I did not expect what we have seen from him.

2) Alvarez - I have liked him for a while but had questions about his hitting. They are gone. This guy deserves a chance and come June or July I think he gets it.

3) Paredes - I was surprised he stayed on the roster all winter. Now I know why. The guy can flat out hit.

4) Navarro - When this guy is on the field he seems to make things happen. I like him. I don't know if he will ever play for the O's but I will be following him.

I was at Mike Wright's AAA game in Durham near the end of last year when he took a no-hitter into the 9th and lost it with two outs. Was hoping the way he ended last year was a sign of good things to come. So far, so good. He has had a very nice camp.

Zach Britton looks really sharp too. I don't want to take his dominance for granted, because we would have huge problems if he tanked. Fortunately, he looks like a man among boys out there.

Also, glad to see Chris Davis hitting shots. Even when not going yard, seems to be getting some very loud outs. I'm encouraged.

Ubaldo and Nolan. I think Pearce has quietly had a good offensive ST.

Paredes? Meh, as soon as Buck mentioned his improved defense that must have been the death knell because I don't see much of a change since then. He has 3 errors right behind Manny :eektf:. You can say ST doesn't matter but that was an area he was supposed to be improved. I don't see it.

Definitely would be Paredes for me.

This is a player who most people thought would be DFAed when Cabrera was signed, but the O's surprisingly decided to keep him around. That decision led to one of the greatest feel-good stories of the spring.

I never like to see a player get injured, but I'm hoping that Lough's possible trip to the D.L. creates a roster spot for Paredes to start the year.
