Yeah, it looks to me that Cabrera is the better defender at SS from what I've seen.

Cabrera probably has better range than Flaherty because of his speed, but I doubt he has the stronger arm. He can't play 3B, has said so himself, Flaherty can. Also Flaherty is the steadier fielder. Cabrera has looked shaky to me.

How many games have you seen him play SS? If he can throw from the hole he ought to be able to make throws from 3B. Apparently he can't.

Just a couple. There was a game-might have been vs StL- where I noticed the arm. Nice pickup by DD. We will be seeing a lot of him early on to see.
